od who is eternal, all powerful, all knowing and who can be everywhere at once limits himself as he becomes a foetus. He becomes completely dependent on his mother as he traps himself inside a frail human body. It is incredible to think that the God who created the universe chose to become the same as one of his creations. The two Bible passages that most clearly describe this ‘Incarnation’ (God becoming flesh) can be found in John 1.1-18 & Philippians 2.1-11. Why not read these verses and consider what it cost God to become a human (Jesus Christ). Here are a few thoughts that occur to me:
God did this to show us what he is like and to open up the way for us to know him. WOW!
