Helping Hands
Lending a hand can make a world of difference.
A number of our church members are involved with a local Good Neighbour Scheme called Helping Hands.
We collect prescriptions and pensions, do shopping, write letters or fill in forms for anyone in Bildeston who could do with some help.
We even offer short term help with housework, gardening or caring for a pet. Soon, we also hope to be able to provide transport for hospital, dental or doctor's appointments.
Some Helping Hands volunteers work full-time, some are retired, some come from Bildeston and others come from the surrounding area. Were all busy people, but are committed to helping others wherever and whenever we can.
